I'm a BIG BUG now!
Big Bugs is a separation class (a drop-off class in which parents are onsite) for children ages 3-5.
In this interactive class, preschoolers use imagination, creativity and music to bring their favorite books and stories to life. With a focus on developing basic musical concepts, creativity and social skills, lessons include dramatic play, singing, musical games, improvisation, instrument exploration and prop making. Big Bugs also builds reading readiness skills through rhyming, rhythm and songwriting.
Books explored include Llama, Llama Red Pajama (Anna Dewdney); Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes (Eric Litwin); Where the Sidewalk Ends (Shel Silverstein); Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus (Mo Willems); and many others.
